Guys, I’m so excited to share this University of Washington Engagement Session with you today! We have family in Seattle and we always jump at the chance to take a session or wedding in that area. So when Cindy got in touch with me about an engagement session at the University of Washington, right when the cherry blossoms were in bloom, I was totally on board! So Ted, Macy, and I headed up to Seattle to spend a weekend with the grandparents and photograph this sweet session. We had planned to meet them on campus for an evening session but the PNW rain had different plans. Since we were there for the weekend we were able to postpone to the next morning and thankfully the sun came through for us in the end! We were able to capture so many gorgeous photos around the UW campus!

This was my first time visiting the University of Washington and I was SO obsessed with all the incredible architecture! I could have spent the whole day there just photographing the buildings, haha. Ted was practically dragging me away after the session because there was so much beauty left to photograph. It was such a beautiful backdrop for photographing Cindy and Jason’s blossoming love, and a sweet nod to the fact that they met while both attending school there. All the cherry trees in bloom added a romantic spring vibe to their photos, and even though we had to navigate all the other people taking photos among the blossoms, it was totally worth it for these beautiful portraits!
