WHAT COULD BE BETTER THAN AN INTIMATE OREGON COAST WEDDING!?
If you’ve been following us for a while you know we’re obsessed with the Oregon Coast! So when Mylinda asked us to photograph her intimate Oregon Coast wedding, you know I jumped at the chance! And I’m so glad she chose to work with us because their wedding day was seriously so magical! There were so many sweet moments during the day, from Mylinda’s grandma as the flower girl to Jordan’s sweet vows for Mylinda and her son, to the perfectly laid back reception!
Mylinda and Jordan got married last week on the beach in Bandon, which is one of the most stunning parts of the Oregon Coast! They had their ceremony right on the beach, which was surprisingly not busy with people. It was the most beautiful wedding and the sunshine did not disappoint!
Getting Ready
Mylinda got ready in an Airbnb right above the beach with her mom, grandma, and all of her girls, and the atmosphere was full of excitement. Mylinda kept saying they didn’t have a plan, they were just going to wing it, but everything came together so perfectly! Once everyone was ready we walked down the stairs to get to the ceremony. Jordan got ready at an AirBnB just south of Bandon which is also where the reception was that evening.
The Ceremony
Guests gathered on the beach chatting as they waited for the ceremony to start. The tide was out which meant they could have their ceremony right in front of the massive rocks that make Bandon famous.
Planning Tip: If you’re getting married on the beach, be sure to look up the tide tables so you can pick a perfect location without worrying about the waves coming in!
During the ceremony, Jordan and Mylinda read their own vows. It was so beautiful and so emotional. Jordan even shared personal vows to Mylinda’s son and it was so sweet! After the ceremony, we hung out on the beach for a bit to capture some formal portraits of the new Mr. and Mrs. and the whole family. Mylinda made the most stunning bride and I couldn’t help but think everything felt and looked more like a styled shoot than an actual real wedding!
The Reception
The reception was held at a rental property just south of Bandon. It’s high up in the hills and has a gorgeous field perfect for the reception. They chose this venue because it’s near the beach, but also because just fell in love with how beautiful it is! They
The Couple
Mylinda had two dresses for her wedding day! Her ceremony dress was flowy and a little bit ornate, just perfect for the beach. Her satin reception dress was handmade and was the perfect style to match the venue change. Jordan wore his Army dress blues and they both looked so incredible! Mylinda’s shoes matched the wedding colors perfectly and the coolest thing is she found them on etsy! I loved the ribbon ankle ties and the gem detailing.
Mylinda and Jordan’s wedding day was so laid back and just the happiest occasion. Scroll down to see more of their intimate wedding!
