I’m so excited to share this gorgeous Wilmes Hop Farm wedding with you guys today! We had the honor of photographing engagement photos for these two last October, and I was thrilled that we got to see them get married as well! Taylor and TJ had a beautiful, laid back wedding full of classic details.
Getting Ready at Wilmes Hop Farm
Taylor and TJ both got ready at Wilmes Hop Farm with all of their parents and wedding party, and there was such a relaxed vibe in the air and everyone was full of excitement and anticipation. Taylor wore a stunning sheath dress designed by Anais Anett, and TJ wore a navy blue suit and tie from Men’s Wearhouse – they looked so incredible. After everyone was ready, we did separate bridesmaid and groomsmen photos before hiding Taylor away as guests arrived for the ceremony.
The Ceremony
The ceremony took place in front of the gorgeous hop vines at Wilmes Hop Farm. It was decorated with wildflowers and tented just in case it rained. The ceremony began with the officiant sharing a few words and finished with Taylor and TJ sharing their own written vows. It was such a sweet ceremony, full of lots of laughter and so much love!
After the ceremony, guests mingled and enjoyed the bar while we photographed the family formals. Then we went out to the hop field for photos of the wedding party and some of the newlyweds. We braved the dirt and captured some gorgeous photos of Taylor and TJ among the hops.
The Reception
For the reception, the couple had planned lawn games and oven-fired pizza for their guests, and everyone loved it – they also had the cutest activity boxes for all of the kids! Everyone was called in for the toasts, which were super sweet! We laughed and we cried as so many of their friends and family shared sweet words for Taylor and TJ!
After the speeches, the DJ started the dance party, while we snuck off for some couples portraits as the sunset. It was cloudy all day so we were super excited to see the glowing golden light breakthrough just in time! After some quick sunset photos, we went back to the reception for the sweetest first dance, cake cutting, and then more partying!
The evening ended with everyone dancing and partying and having a great time. The whole wedding so relaxed and so beautiful, from the romantic vows to the sweet toasts. These two are some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met and it was such an honor to get to celebrate this amazing day with them!
