Over the last four years, we’ve had the opportunity to photograph weddings all over the state, and we especially love it when we get to travel into Portland to help our clients celebrate! Portland has so many venues to offer, for any vibe or style. Because of that, we wanted to shout out to some of our favorite wedding spaces in the area! Here’s our list of the best wedding venues in Portland, and a few just outside the city.
BEST WEDDING VENUES IN PORTLAND
Castaway Portland
This beautiful industrial venue is great for anyone who wants a clean urban vibe. The Castaway is a large indoor space perfect for both your ceremony and reception. The cement and wood interior is a blank canvas ready for you to style and design however your heart desires! Alternatively, use their small outdoor patio for your ceremony or cocktail hour.

Lewis and Clark College
Classic architecture and stunning gardens make this venue one of our favorites (and we think it’s one of the absolute best wedding venues in Portland)! We’re huge fans of this northwest twist on European garden style. Lewis and Clark College has several options throughout the campus that all maintain its elegant vibe. As such, it’s perfect for anyone who wants elegant indoor or outdoor spaces and stunning scenery.

The Evergreen
Another amazing urban wedding venue in the heart of Portland! The Evergreen is a beautifully remodeled space full of historic charm. The exposed brick and antique hardwood make this space a stunning option for your ceremony and reception. In addition to that, it’s just down the street from Waterfront Park which is a beautiful option for a first look or wedding party portraits.

Cooper’s Hall
This autobody shop turned taproom is the perfect spot for a modern winery wedding! If you’re looking for a combination of urban styling and winery vibes, this is it. They also feature a full-service bar with their Cooper’s Hall wine and local beer on tap. Along with the most delicious menu of food for your cocktail hour and reception!

Portland Golf Club
This venue is great for anyone who wants an elegant affair! The Portland Golf Club can host large parties or intimate events and boasts beautiful architecture and lush scenery. The Grand Ballroom and the East Room make this venue perfect for big or small soirees.

Even though these next few are not technically in Portland, they’re such beautiful options! And we thought they were close enough that we couldn’t leave them off our list of best wedding venues in Portland!
Columbia Gorge Hotel
We love this venue for its Tuscan vibes, elegant interior design, and spectacular views! The garden terrace overlooking the Gorge makes a stunning ceremony backdrop, and the surrounding gardens have endless photo opportunities. Alternatively, inside the hotel is full of stunning antique details that are perfect for a luxurious reception.

Wilmes Hop Farm
This charming family-owned farm turned wedding venue is a hidden gem, tucked away in farmland south of Portland. It features an elegant farmhouse to get ready in, a beautifully landscaped lawn for your reception, and rows and rows of hops that make an incredible ceremony and portrait backdrop. Altogether a perfect venue for beer lovers or anyone looking for winery wedding vibes with a twist!

The Butler Barn
This unique barn venue is elegant, with all the rustic charms of a working and operating farm! It offers not one, but two barns to use for your event. The Hoffman barn, with it’s all white vibe, is perfect for your ceremony and portraits. Afterward, host your reception in the Original barn or on the accompanying lawn.
